Urban Arts Architecture Inc. designed the new Elders Home to provide Tla’amin Nation elders safe and accessible housing with a culturally appropriate look and feel.  Alfrex fire-resistant ACM composite metal wall panels in a Bronze finish integrate smoothly with traditional materials and colors on the project including wood, stone, and copper.  The building is a contemporary take on the nation’s traditional longhouses with Alfrex MCM representing the large, angled horizontal planks typically installed between vertical poles.
