Alfrex is proud to announce the completion of a full-scale wall façade inside its Buford, Georgia plant integrating both Alfrex 4mm thick MCM and Alfrex 3mm thick pre-finished solid aluminum plate side-by-side on the same wall plane.  Utilizing Altech Panel Systems’ Accu-Trac DS rainscreen system, a seamless installation was achieved highlighting a variety of finishes and panel shapes.  The result is a totally integrated wall that shows the flexibility of both panel systems proving they can achieve the same look and feel.

To showcase the actual panel-system interface, a separate four-panel mock-up was installed on a clear polycarbonate substrate and mounted to a rolling base – enabling clear views from multiple angles and perspectives.  Alfrex MCM and Alfrex Aluminum Plate can be fabricated and installed using virtually the same techniques and attachment systems.  The synergy of combined engineering, fabrication, layout, and installation resources drives practical benefits both in design and field application.  These combined benefits enable leveraging the advantages of each product to achieve beautiful project execution from planning through installation.
